2023Q3 Global Top 10 Foundries Revenue Ranking

December 6, 2023 - According to TrendForce Tibbo Consulting research, the top 10 foundries in Q3 2023 were worth US$28.29 billion, up 7.9% YoY.

TSMC ranked first with 57.9% market share. Revenue in the third quarter rose 10.2% YoY to $17.25 billion. Among them, 3nm in the third quarter revenue accounted for 6%, while TSMC's overall advanced process (7nm including the following) revenue accounted for nearly 60%.

Samsung ranked second, with a market share of 12.4%. Revenue in the third quarter reached $3.69 billion, an increase of 14.1% from the previous year.

GlobalFoundries third, market share of 6.2%. Wafer shipments and average unit price of sales in the third quarter was flat in the second quarter, and revenue was also similar to the second quarter, about $1.85 billion.

UMC (UMC) market share of 6%, ranked revenue decreased slightly by 1.7% from the previous quarter, about 1.8 billion U.S. dollars, of which 28/22nm revenue quarterly increase of nearly 10%, accounting for 32% of the increase.
